I'm just curious about these 2 ISO's.Įdit: I forgot that when you download the Media Creation tool, the name of it is actually "MediaCreationTool1803.exe" so I assume it's version 1803 too. I'm not asking for a licence, nor am I providing one. I just want to clean install my PC with the latest Windows 10 version. The second method doesn't actually specify what Windows 10 version I'm downloading, and considering that 2nd method ISO is almost 1GB smaller than the 1st ISO, I can only assume that this Windows 10 version is the first public release? The difference is really direct link vs Media Creation Tool. Total size is 3.46GBĪs you can tell, links from method 1 and 2 are the same. ![]() ![]() Second method: Downloaded the "MediaCreationTool1803.exe" from Microsoft and got the 64bit version. Windows 10 april 2018 update -> English -> 64bit (Total size of ISO is 4.36GB) ![]() First method: Used a Chrome extension to trick my Chrome browser into thinking I was using an iPad so I can get a download link without installing the "Media Creation tool"
